TONIGHT the Pasadena City Council will meet again and hopefully vote to spay and neuter all dogs and cats over the age of 4 months instead of discriminating and singling out pit bull terrier and pit bull terrier like dogs. Please join us and support all the pitties!
Opposing BSL at the Pasadena City Council Meeting Speech:

Image 2: Smokey is available for adoption thru Boxer Rescue of LA!! Smokey is like the lovable wildfire mascot bear that reminds us to not play with matches. He is kind of goofy and goes with the flow. He is playful with other dogs. He currently plays with humans like they were a dog so older kids are best. He currently has a bit of a hand and foot fetish which we are working on redirecting. Smokey is happy to please and eager to learn. His long natural tail is always going a hundred miles an hour. Smokey wants to be your teddy bear. http://www.boxer-rescue-la.com/dogs/smokey_feb13.html

Happiness is an inside job
We have to understand we are not the only beings on this planet with personalities and minds.
Happy HUG a Vegetarian Day!! Lots of HUGS for ALL!!!
I find this very interesting. I do like how teas and herbs are included on the pyramid as this is not typically something that is mentioned. I find how the sections are divided to be a little deceiving, as by the numbers wouldn’t healthy fats be below grains, pastas and beans. Subsequently, soy gets its own row and as Kineseology stated below, soy is processed and contains excess amounts of estrogen. Soy should spit the row with another less processed similar alternative. Typically the food pyramids does not follow my diet, however this one I find to be more similar to my actual diet. Anti-Inflammatory food are important to me and i will be keeping the pyramid above in mind when planning future meals.
Dr. Weil’s Anti-Inflammatory Food Pyramid
What do you think? Does this look like your diet?
Some of my observations:
- No red meat
- Whole soy foods (most are still processed and contain excess estrogen)
- Pasta? Aren’t high starch complex carbohydrates inflammatory?
- Supplements? If you’re eating correctly, shouldn’t all essential vitamins and nutrients be included in your diet?
